Week 11

Detroit at Minnesota - After dropping 3 straight games, the Vikes will finally turn it around this week. Moss will be out at least another week. WR Burleson has been trying to take up the slack. The Lions found out the hard way who David Garrard was. Harrington struggled last week and RB Kevin Jones just continues to have issues.

Denver at New Orleans - The Saints went crazy on the Chiefs last week. Deuce and Joe Horn both had huge days. That's not hard to do against a team who can't even spell the word defense. Denver had a week to rest and should be ready for the Saints. In week 9, Jake the Snake seemed to be back into his rhythm throwing 4 TDs. Denver needs a big day from RB Droughns to open up the passing game.

San Francisco at Tampa Bay - I'm not a superstitious person, but I have to agree that 13 is a very unlucky number. By the way, it is the same number Niners QB Tim Rattay wears. He threw 4 picks and fumbled twice against the Panthers who only seem to have 9 healthy players on its active roster. San Fran (1-8) has to be the worst team ever. Griese and the Bucs should have an easy one this week.

Arizona at Carolina - Old Man Emmitt does it again! He carried the Cards on his back with the only 2 touchdowns of the day. Someone had to do something on that team. Josh McCown ended up with only 90 passing yards. The Panthers can't manage to stay healthy. Without having a running game, Delhomme has been making big plays through the air. Let's hope his thumb allows him to make any great plays this week.

Tennessee at Jacksonville - Garrard who? The Jags backup QB showed out on the Lions last week. He won the game in OT with a pass to Jimmy Smith. The Jags has a defense that should hold QB Volek to a quiet day. Chris Brown doesn't look to be 100 percent yet. He had a horrible outing last week against the Bears. He just couldn't manage to hold on to the ball. Maybe the Titans should invest in sticky gloves.

Dallas at Baltimore - The magic is gone! Has Tuna lost it? Dallas appears to be the same 5-11 team it was before Parcells arrived. I hate to admit it, but I think Eddie George is cooked also. This Ravens D might pick Vinny apart. Pick being the operative word. If Ray Lewis is allowed to choke slam everyone like he did WR Chrebet last week, it's going to be a rough day in B'more.

St. Louis at Buffalo - 76 yards Dreadsoe??? That's all you could manage to muster against your former team? It appears to be a mental block. Their only score was made by the special teams unit. McGahee was held to 37 rushing yards. Pathetic! The Rams has the Seahawks number. Marshall had another 100+ rushing day. If they keep this up, Bruce and Holt will continue to put up big numbers too.

Indianapolis at Chicago - I have to take Dungy over Lovie Smith. The Bears couldn't manage to score one touchdown offensively in their win over the Titans last week. Krenzel needs to do a better job this week against this suspect defense. The Colts are all about offense. Peyton had another good day, throwing 5 TDs on the Texans. Without Urlacher, he should have an easy day over the middle.

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati - Marvin's winning streak ends here. After upsetting the 'Boys and the 'Skins in back-to-back weeks, The Bengals will come back to reality. Spittsburgh's QB Ben Roethlisberger has these guys in first place right now. Bettis had a big day last week. I'm sure they wheeled out the oxygen tanks after the game. Spittsburgh should have an easy one as long as they can control their tempers and their bodily liquids.

NY Jets at Cleveland - GO BROWNS!! Are we going back to a 2 QB system? Kelly Holcomb came in and scored the only TD as the game was winding down. Garcia doesn't have to worry about his job. He will handle the Jets defense. The Jets D broke down against Kyle Boller and the Ravens last week. Until last week, I didn't even know Boller knew how to throw the ball into the end zone. Quincy didn't look too bad. He might want to reconsider throwing on this Browns' secondary.

San Diego at Oakland - With both teams having a bye last week, they should be well rested for this matchup. The Chargers are surprisingly 6-3, mainly due to the play of Drew Brees. The Raiders (3-6) seem to be in the self-destruction mode right now. In the off-season, they manage to acquire every other team's leftovers. Now they are stuck with a bunch of has beens.

Miami at Seattle - Well, at least Miami University knows how to play football. The Dolphins can't even beat themselves in practice. Wannstedt was obviously fed up with the lackluster style of play. Management was obviously fed up with Wannstedt. He should have been fired long time ago. Seattle needs to redeem themselves from last week against the Rams. RB Alexander had a big day in a losing effort. He will have another big day this week.

Atlanta at NY Giants - Hey Eli! Welcome to the NFL! I'm sure that’s what the entire Dirty Bird defense will do from the first time he touches the ball. I hope he's not allergic to grass. I'm predicting 10 sacks by the end of the half. Vick had this problem in the beginning of the season when Mora tried to restrict him to the pocket. He had 73 rushing yards last week against the Bucs. Without Strahan or Washington, he may rush for even more yards this week.

Washington at Philadelphia - Bungled! The Skins struggled against the Bengals last week. They even brought out Patrick Ramsey to try to get something going. I hope Gibbs keeps Brunell on the bench this week. The Eagles manhandled the Cowboys on MNF. It was the McNabb and T.O. show. The 'Skins should start playing for draft picks.

Green Bay at Houston - A last second FG by Longwell gave the Cheeseheads the win over the Vikes. Classic Favre! He threw 4 TDs on a 20-for-29 effort. Ahman Green had 145 yards on the ground. Houston had no answer for anything Peyton threw at them. I don't think their defense made the plane trip to Indy. I hope they show up this week. As long as they remember that the game is played on Sunday.

New England at Kansas City - How does a team without a defense stop the Pats? They don't. The hell with calling a Priest, you'd better call the coroner. They could have used Priest last week. Blaylock played well, but if they had a 1-2 punch, they could have beaten the Saints. The Pats have too many weapons at their disposal. The Chiefs' fans may want to stay home this Monday. But then again, I heard they were passing out Vermeil bobble-heads that cry real tears.
