Week 6

San Francisco at NY Jets – The Niners finally won a game! The Ratt had to throw over 400 yards against the Cards to do it, but they got it done. The Jets just barely squeaked past Buffalo with a last minute FG. The Jets know how to win. They’ll win again this week.

Carolina at Philadelphia – Even with a probable return of Stephen Davis, the Panthers has no chance to beat a rested Eagles team. To say that the Panthers are banged up, would be an understatement. At 1-3, this Panthers team has little chance to repeat as NFC Champs. Hell, at this point, they should start playing for draft picks.

Kansas City at Jacksonville – Offensively, there is no way the Jags can hang with the Chiefs. Defensively, now that is an entirely different issue. Despite losing back to back games, the Jags have looked pretty decent this year. They’re just on a skid right now. Expect for them to skid again this week.

San Diego at Atlanta – The Chargers actually have a winning record. How did that happen? Brees has been running this offense pretty well for the past 2 weeks. Mooch picked apart Vick and the Falcons’ so-called “west coast offense” last week. This week it is Schottenheimer’s turn.

Miami at Buffalo – This has to be the worst game of the week. Neither team has won a game this year. I guess someone has to come out of this game with a win, eh? Knowing these 2 teams, they’ll probably tie. Dreadsoe actually gave the Jets a run last week. Miami just barely showed up against the Pats. Bills should take this one easily.

Washington at Chicago – The Dreadskins don’t seem to have an answer for anything. It’s a good thing they only have the Bears this week. The Bears are still struggling with second string QB Quinn. RB Thomas Jones is seemingly the Bears only threat. A return of Arrington should put a damper on his rushing attack.

Cincinnati at ClevelandGO BROWNS!!! WR Chad Johnson has jokes. He started in on the Browns secondary by sending them bottles of Pepto during the week. Unknowingly, the joke is on him. WR Peter Warrick is unavailable to play this week. RB Rudi is not a definite start. This should shut up another team who seems to want to trash-talk before games.

Seattle at New England – Where is the Patriots’ Achilles heel? Nearly 20 wins in a row denotes that they might not have one. Seahawks need to bring their ‘A’ game this week. The Seahawks lost a close one to the Rams in OT. If they play a rounded game like last week, they will give the Pats a run this week.

Green Bay at Detroit – UPSET OF THE WEEK. The Packers are having some serious issues going on. Favre threw 3 INTs while the running game seemed to be non-existent. Green was held to only 33 yards on the ground. Detroit has played well in nearly every game this year. Their only loss was handed to them by the Eagles.

Houston at Tennessee – The Texans played a phenomenal game against the Vikes last week, even pushing them to OT. The Titans were happy to have McNair back. Despite only throwing 200 yards, he led the onslaught along with RB Brown to beat the Cheeseheads 48-27. If they have anything left, I feel sorry for Houston.

Denver at Oakland – Where is Quentin Griffin? He had a great first game and has been missing ever since. A bum ankle may have him sidelined for another game. RB Droughns rushed nearly 200 yards in his place last week. Even at 2-3, Oakland has been playing well. Zereoue and WR Ronald Curry have put up some big numbers this year. Collins, at times, shows why he is nothing but a recycled QB. If he limits his turnovers, the Raiders could pull this one out.

Pittsburgh at Dallas – If Dallas could play the Skins 16 games a year, they’d be undefeated. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. The Giants had their way with “America’s team” last week, beating them 26-10. If they couldn’t stop Warner, they may have some difficulty with the rookie Roethlisberger. He has been on fire for the last 3 weeks.

Minnesota at New Orleans – The Saints actually gave Chucky and the Bucs their first win of the season. The return of Deuce may have disrupted the Saints flow a little. Culpepper, who barely even used his RB, threw 5 TDs in their win over Houston. If Griese exposed the Saints D with a bunch of mediocre receivers last week, Culpepper will have a big game in The Big Easy.

Tampa Bay at St. Louis – Did we forget about Griese? Looks like Tampa Bay has its new starting QB. Chris Simms went out almost as fast as he came in. He was hurt early in his debut as starting QB. It makes me wonder what the ‘Chris’ is short for. The Rams should have their way this terrible Tampa team.

GAME OF THE WEEK: Seattle vs. New England
